We are Ina and Ernst.

Meet our donkey community consisting of 11 animals (the youngest foal, Charly, was born on 4th January this year) on one of the smallest Canary Islands, El Hierro!

We have made a home for endangered Majorero donkeys, native to these islands.

Because people do not use donkeys for agricultural work these days, this beautiful and affectionate breed is almost extinct. We have been giving them a home since 2018, and so far they have produced three adorable foals.

Our aim is to save the race of Majorero donkeys from extinction and give them a comfortable, happy life. And you can help!
